After several lessons on stage combat and fight choreography, acting instructor Christopher Halsted brought in weapons, armor and even a trusty "steed" today to give Teenage Drama Workshop students the chance to try out their new skills. Students in all three levels got the hand-on experience during their acting class.
Working in duos and small groups, students had the chance to choreograph and act in fight scenes -- from a desert duel fought with sabres, a cloak and the aforementioned steed, to a battle on the Scottish highlands in full armor.
Pictured at top, TADW student Joey Veliz (in full armor) gets into the action with Kaitlyn Wolf, while Halsted provides instruction. Pictured below, Halsted directs TADW students Devon Yaffe and Tiffany Conway in their desert fight scene. Check out the full album on TADW's Flickr page here.
